Private Joseph Alexander served with Pennsylvania Militia during the American Revolution.

Joseph Alexander was in service 1778-80-81-82, with Capts. Adam Harmony, Wm. Strain and Conrad Snyder. [1]

He probably the oldest son of Patrick Alexander, so named by his mother in the settlement of estate.
