Biography
"Connecticut Vital Records to 1870 (Online Database: AmericanAncestors.org, New England Historic Genealogical Society, 2011.) From original typescripts, Lucius Barnes Barbour Collection, 1928, p.4, gives Rebecca's date of birth as 24 Oct 1762 in Windsor, CT. That seems likely, since her parents (Benedict Alford and Rebecca Owen) were married in 1761.
