Elizabeth Anne "Nancy" Allan was born 15th December 1912 at Penguin, Tasmania, the daughter of William Allan and Annie Alford. ^[1][2]

At some stage, the Allan family removed to the mainland, settling in Victoria.

Death. Elizabeth accidentally drowned on 8th February 1926, aged 13 years.^[3]

DEATHS

ALLAN.—On the 8th February, at Brighton (accidently drowned) Elizabeth Ann Allan (Nancy) beloved daughter of Will and Annie Allan, sister of Katie, Yvonne, Linda and William, granddaughter of Annie Alford, aged 13½ years.

ALLAN.—On the 8th February, accidently drowned, Elizabeth Ann the dearly loved third eldest daughter of William and Annie A. Allan, of 143 New-street, Middle Brighton, and loving sister of Katie, Yvonne, Linda and William, aged 13 years. Rest in peace. ^[4]

Burial. On 10th February 1926, her remains were interred in the Roman Catholic portion, Brighton Cemetery, Caulfield South, Victoria.

FUNERAL NOTICES.

ALLAN.— The Friends of Mr. and Mrs. WILLIAM ALLAN, of 143 New-street, Middle Brighton, are respectfully informed that the funeral of their dearly loved third eldest daughter, Elizabeth Ann, will leave Joan of Arc R.C. Church, corner Dendy and New streets, Middle Brighton, THIS DAY (Wednesday), the 10th inst., at 3 p.m., and the cortege will proceed to the Brighton Cemetery via St. Finbar's R.C. Church, Centre-road, Brighton.

There, in 1947 and 1948 respectively, she was joined by her parents, William and Annie. ^[6]
