Biography
Peleg was a Friend (Quaker)
Peleg was born on 7 August 1768 at New Bedford, Massachusetts Bay.[1] He was the son of Benjamin and Eliphel Allen of New Bedford.[1][2]
He married Susanna Shearman, daughter of Philip and Mary Shearman of Dartmouth, Massachusetts on 2d 4m 1789.[2]
