Florence was born on 16 Mar 1895 in Port Elgin, Westmorland, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of Fletcher Allen and Melinda Smith. [1] She married Emery Lancelot Hicks in Westmoreland on July 25, 1917, at the age of 28. [2] She passed away on 21 May 1983 in Moncton, Westmoreland at the age of 88 and was buried in Sackville Rural Cemetery. She had six children, five still living. [3]
