1900 Census. Thos (Thomas) T. Allain (Allen) was living at home with his spouse, Lula, and two of their children: Luther age 8 b. in AR and Lee R. age 4 b. AR and a male lodger was also living with them, Charley Wright, age 18. They were all born in Arkansas. Thomas was living next door to his brother, Alex.^[1]

1910 Census. Thomas was living with his spouse, Lula C., in Justice Precinct 5, Brown, Texas. They were both 37, and both were born in Arkansas. There were two sons living with them, Luther and Roy L. Allen and a daughter-in-law, Willie K. Allen.^[2]

1920 Census. Thomas T. was living with his spouse, Lula C., in Justice Precinct 7, Eastland, Texas. He was 47 and Lula was 42. Ray L. Allen, their son, who was 24 and his wife, Eunis Allen age 24 b. in TX and one child, Alice J. Allen one year old and born in Texas, were also living with them.^[3]
