George Allen, the son of Caleb Allen and Elizabeth Sisson, was born at Sandwich in the New Plymouth Colony on 19 May 1678.
He was later married in Monmouth County, New Jersey, in about 1703/04 to his cousin, Hannah Woolley, the daughter of Edward Woolley and Lydia Allen. Hannah had been born at Shrewsbury in the Province of East Jersey on 8 July 1687.
After their marriage, George and Hannah resided at Shrewsbury in Monmouth County, New Jersey, where George worked as a blacksmith. George later died at Shrewsbury, New Jersey, during the early part of 1729. His will, which had been written on 7 January 1728/29 was subsequently probated before the Monmouth County Court on 24 March 1728/29.
Sometime after George passed away, his widow, Hannah, married in New Jersey for a second time to a man named John Little.
Hannah later died in Monmouth County, New Jersey, and was buried in the First Presbyterian Churchyard at Shrewsbury, Monmouth County, New Jersey.
In his Last Will he referenced his children, all born in Shrewsbury:
