George Allen was born in Staffordshire, England.

George was born in 1821, in Burton upon Trent He was the son of Joseph Allen and Elizabeth Eld. He was baptised on the 10 Aug 1821^[1]

In Derbyshire, on 10 Aug 1840 , George marries Emma redfern^[2]

He and Emma have Henry by the census in 1841 aged 4 months. George was a writing Clerk ^[3]

Aged 30 in 1851, the family of three children were living on Branstone Road in Burton Upon Trent ^[4]

He was a writing clerk - his widow, Emma states she was the widow of a Solicitors clerk (??) in the 1861 census. They had 4 children, though baby George died as a baby.

George passed away in 1852, he died of TB as did his brother Edwin. He was buried at St Modwen, Burton upon Trent Staffordshire ^[5]
