Aged 30 in 1851, the family of three children were living on Branstone Road in Burton Upon Trent [4]
He was a writing clerk - his widow, Emma states she was the widow of a Solicitors clerk (??) in the 1861 census. They had 4 children, though baby George died as a baby.
George passed away in 1852, he died of TB as did his brother Edwin. He was buried at St Modwen, Burton upon Trent Staffordshire [5]
