son of William Lee and Amanda Caroline Potts Allen. By trade he was a carpenter. Death Certificate says " gunshot wound caused by gun held in the hands of Ray Edwards" and his death was ruled a homicide.
Crowder Allen was born in 1878 in Jamesville Township, Illinois. Crowder was the son of William Allen and Amanda Potts. In 1880, Crowder was living with his parents and siblings in Zanesville, Montgomery. At the time, he was the youngest of five brothers.
Death and Burial
Crowder passed away on January 3rd 1922 in Litchfield, Montgomery, Illinois and was buried two days later. [1]
