Biography

Anne Bishop Allnutt was born on 29th August 1834 at Chinnor, Oxfordshire, England. [1]

In 1841 she was age 6 and living with her father, brother and a housekeeper in Chinnor.

She migrated to Western Australia on the Trusty, arriving on 30 May 1844.

MARRIAGE. On the 26th ult., in the Independent Chapel, Australind, by the Rev. J. Johnston, ROBERT H. ROSE, ESQ., eldest son of the late R. Rose, Esq., of Stanton Hill, Suffolk, to ANN, eldest daughter of Mr J. Allnutt, of Australind.[2]
She married Robert Rose on 26th March 1857 at Australind, Western Australia. [3] The couple made their home at Parkfield, near Australina, and had five sons:
  1. Robert Henry Rose (1858-1900)
  2. John Charles Rose (1859-1940)
  3. George Canler Rose (1861-1959)
  4. James Rose (1862-1943)
  5. Edwin Rose (1863-1948)
Anne passed away as a a result of complications following Edwin's birth, aged just 29 years, on 18th January 1864 at Australind. [4]
