Biography

Edward Alston FRCB is Notable.

Edward Alston was born on the 24th of June 1597, son of Edward Alston of Edwardstone in Suffolk ^[1] and his wife, Margaret Penning. ^[2] He was educated at St John's College, Cambridge matriculating in 1612, graduating BA in 1616 and MA in 1619.^[1]

Edward becomes a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 1631. ^[3]

He was knighted in September 1660 probably on the 3rd. ^[4][1]

Edward passed away on the 24th of December 1669 ^[1] and was buried at St Helen, Bishopsgate in the City of London on the 31st of December. ^[5]
