Biography
Jürgen Heinrich Alvermann was born on 30 Nov 1832 in Altenmedingen, Uelzen, Hannover, Deutscher Bund. His profession was Maurer (Mason).
He married Catharine Dorothee Elisabeth König on 23 Nov 1860 in Altenmedingen. They had two children in the German Confederation:
- Jürgen Heinrich Alvermann (b. 1861)
- Marie Dorothee Alvermann (b. 1864)

He emigrated to the United States in 1867, possibly to Sauk County, Wisconsin where his daughter Elisabeth Alvermann was born that year.
It is possible that he passed away in the Town of Dale, Outagamie County, Wisconsin sometime before 1877.
Research notes
It is unclear if he retained the latter N in Alvermann to become Alverman, as some did in the United States.
