Ora Lee Alvis was born on 27 Feb 1874 in Boone, Missouri, United States, daughter of James Marshall Alvis (~1835 - 1891) and Susan Frances (Via) Alvis (1844 - 1925).

Ora died on 29 Mar 1965 in Lafayette, Fairfield Township, Tippecanoe, Indiana aged 91. She is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Attica, Indiana.

Ora Lee Alvis was born on February 27, 1874 in Boone County, Missouri.[1]

She was enumerated on the 1880 census in Missouri Township, Boone, Missouri, United States with her parents, James M. and Sarah Alvis.[2]

In 1900, she was living with her widowed mother, Sarah, [3]

She married Edward Lafayette Yeats on October 17, 1900 in Boone County, Missouri.[4]

By 1910 she and her husband, Lafayette Yates, had moved to Warren, Warren, Indiana.[5]

The family had moved again by 1920, relocating to Attica, Logan Township, Fountain, Indiana, United States.[6]

In 1930, the family was still living in Attica, Fountain, Indiana.[7]

Ora Lee (Alvis) Yeates died on March 29, 1965 and was buried in Riverside Cemetery in Attica, Fountain County, Indiana. [8]
