Biography
Delilah Alward was born on 25 Apr 1834 in Havelock, Kings County, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of Charles Alward (~1786 - ~1866) and Elizabeth (Keith) Thorne (1790 - 1862).
Her siblings were:
- Mary A. (Alward) Thorne (1820 - 1892)
- Aaron Alward MD MLA (1828 - 1886)
Delilah (24) married Albert Teakles (~27) (born in New Brunswick in 1831; died in 1895), son of Isaac Teakles and Elizabeth McCready, on 2 Feb 1859 in New Brunswick.
Delilah died on 3 Sep 1907 in New Brunswick aged 73. She is buried in Greenhill Cemetery, Havelock.[1]
