Johanne Sophie "Conradine" Albertine Amelunke was born 27 Feb 1827 in Klein Rhüden, Seesen, Landkreis Goslar, Lower Saxony, Germany to Heinrich "Christian" Amelunke and Johanne Marie Friederike Klusmann.[1][2]

Her family left Bremen, Germany for Missouri on the ship Mattakeeset and arrived in New Orleans on 15 Nov 1847. [3]

Conradina married Johann Andreas "Andrew" August Suedekum on 2 Mar 1848 in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.[4][5]

They had 6 children:

Dina, as she was sometimes called, passed away on 4 Sep 1883 in Gordonville, Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. She was buried in the Suedekum Cemetery, Dutchtown, Cape Girardeau County, Missouri on 5 Sep 1883.[6][2]
