Louis Amendt was born in October 2, 1899 in Spring Township, Cherokee County, Iowa,
the son of Nicholas Amendt and Mary Anna Tigges[1]
He died in 1968.[2] He is buried in Oakland Cemetery in Peterson, Clay County, Iowa.[2]
