Biography

Annie was born on October 24, 1834 to Reverend Edward Raymond Ames and Harrietta Beach in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She married William Jacob Hiss on May 20, 1856 with her father presiding. They had at least 8 children.

Annie died in Baltimore, Maryland on August 20, 1927 and is buried at the Green Mount Cemetery, Baltimore, Baltimore City, Maryland, USA with her husband and father and other members of the Ames/Hiss families.
