Biography

(Antonia) Rosaria Amodeo was born at Sciacca, Provincia di Girgenti, Kingdom of Sicily, "hodie," 13 June 1651, daughter of Onofrio Amodeo and Giovanna [Gatto], and was baptized at San Michele parish, Sciacca, 6 July 1653; her sponsors were Pietro Ragusa and Vincenza Cuchiara.^[1]

Rosariam Amodeo, daughter of qm Onofrio Amodeo and Giovanna [Gatto], married first, at Sciacca (Quartiere San Vito), 12 January 1665, by Reverendo Sacerdote Don Vincenzo Planeta Capp.ni, M.ro Paulum Nicolosi, son of qm M.ro Giuseppe Nicolosi and Angela [Giletto]. The witnesses were Michele Gatto and Sebastiano de Liotta.^[2]

Paolo Francesco Natale Nicolosi was born at Sciacca, Provincia di Girgenti, Kingdom of Sicily, "nocte precedente," 24 Xbre (December) 1642, son of M.ro Giuseppe Nicolosi and Angela [Giletto]; and was baptized at San Vito parish, Sciacca, 25 Xbre (December) 1642; his sponsors were M.ro Leonardo and Calogera Formusa of San Michele parish.^[3]

Rosariam Amodeo, relicta qm Mag.ro Pauli Nicolosi, married second, at Sciacca (Quartiere San Vito), 30 8bre (October) 1684, by Reverendo Sacerdote Don Carlo Bivona Capp.ni, Domenico Indelicato, son of qm Antonino Indelicato and Caterina. The witnesses were Giuseppe Bellante and Mag.ro Gaetano Sinacore.^[4]

Domenico Mario Indelicato was born at Sciacca, Provincia di Girgenti, Kingdom of Sicily, "nocte precedente," 28 June 1656, son of Antonino Indelicato and Caterina; and was baptized at San Vito parish, Sciacca, 29 June 1656; his sponsors were Antonino Friscia and Filippa Mancuso.^[5] Dom.cus Indelicato died an "unexpected death in a place of no accident in Royal territory" (morte improvisa in loco no caso purgatori in territorio Reganelle), and was buried on the grounds of San Michele Church, Sciacca, 22 January 1714, aged about 50: "Dom.cus Indelicato an. 50."^[6]
