Biography
William Anderson was born 18 Mar 1774 in Anne Arundel, Maryland, USA to parents Abraham Anderson and Sarah Pogue.
He married Amelia Clinton 1797.
Their children were: Abraham (1798-), Elizabeth D (1800-1862), Thornberry (1803-1865), Rachel Merodeth (1806-), Sarrah (1808-), Albert Alvis (1809-1882), John Paul (1811-1889), Voltire (1816-), William G (1816-), Amelia Jane (1817-).
1840 census William was living in Cain Creek, Gallatin, Illinois with wife. [1]
1850 Federal Census shows William as a farmer aged 74.[2]William Anderson -Saline Saline, Illinois
William died AFTER this Census in September, 1850 on 9 Oct 1850 in Saline, Illinois.
