Harold R. Anderson, 81, Colfax resident, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the Whitman Hospital. A Memorial Service honoring his life will be held Wednesday, February 16th at 10:00 am at Whitman Health & Rehab Center, 1150 W. Fairview. Harold was born October 28, 1929 in Spokane to Nels and Clara (Hendricks) Anderson. He grew up in Spokane. Harold moved to Lakeland Village in the early 1960’s and later moved to Clarkston for a time before coming to Colfax. He did work as a maintenance man and also as a meat cutter at various places. He met his wife, Marguerite, in Colfax. Harold enjoyed reading, watching television, and participating in activity programs at Whitman Health & Rehab Center, where he had been living for the last several years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite, his parents, and a sister, Bessie Seedorf. He is survived by three nephews: Ronald Seedorf of Poulsbo, Washington, Martin Seedorf of Cheney, Washington and James Seedorf of Eagle River, Alaska.
