Biography
In the 1871 Census of Canada, Alice was recorded living with her mother in Sorel, Québec.[1]
She married English-born Nathan Mercer, an insurance agent. In the 1891 and 1901 Censuses, they were recorded living in Montreal.[2][3]
She died in 1937 in Ottawa, Ontario.[4]
