Peter Anderson was born about 1793 in Pennsylvania to unknown parents. on 19 Oct 1815 he married Anna Maria (Hummell) Anderson (1799-1860) and together they had 10 children: William H. Anderson (1817-1889), Benjamin Anderson (1822-1904), Richard Anderson (1827-1896), Harrison Anderson (abt.1831-1866), Josiah H. Anderson (1832-1911), Amanda Temson (Anderson) Hummel (1834-1894), Amos Anderson (1836-1906), Clara Ann (Anderson) McAllister (1837-1907), Darius, and Jerome Anderson (1842-1885). He was a farmer and lived his whole life in Berks County, PA
