Biography
Anders Jöransson's child in Sunnanfors, Jacob, was baptized 5 March 1654.[1] The patronymic of the father is very indistinct and has been transcribed as Svensson, but this cannot be correct.
Jacob lived in Sunnanfors, in the same household as his father and stepmother.[2] Jacob Andersson in Sunnanfors married Margareta Andersdotter in Kyrkbyn 2 September 1678.[3][4] Later they lived with Jacob's father-in-law Anders Bengtsson in Kyrkbyn.[5]
Jacob Andersson died 22 March 1719. He was buried on the same day as his wife Margareta Andersdotter. They had lived together first 20 years in Sunnanfors and then 22 years in Kyrkbyn. They were survived by two of their four sons and all their five daughters. The obituary states that Jacob was born in Sunnanfors in 1647 to Anders Jacobsson and his wife Kerstin Jacobsdotter.[6] Neither the birth year nor the patronymic of his father are accurate in this record.
