Anders was born on May 26, 1821,[1] to Anders Andersson and Anna Segolsdotter,[2] in Holmedal, Sweden.[1]
Anders married Casja Olsdotter on May 30, 1847[3]
They emigrated to North America in April of 1883.[1] He was living in the 1900 census with his daughter and son in law, Mina and John Borgstrom, listed under the name Anders Werner. he was listed as widowed.[4]
