Biography

John Andreas was born to Peter Andreas and Thankful Washburn on Jun. 24, 1786, in Heidelberg Twp., Northampton Co., now part of Lehigh Co., Pennsylvania.

He died on Sept. 1, 1850, in Butler Twp., Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania, and was subsequently buried at the St. John's Lutheran Church Cem., Saint Johns, Pennsylvania.
