George was born on July 7, 1821 in Lincolnshire, England, the son of George Andrew and Francis Jackson Andrew.
George Andrew married Caroline Hatter on March 4, 1852 in England.
He died on August 11, 1890, in Bristol Township, Greene County, Iowa. He is buried in Highland Township Cemetery, Churdan, Greene County, Iowa. A memorial can be found on Find A Grave.
