The Bridgeport Post, Bridgeport, Connecticut, Tuesday, January 6, 1959, page 36 Ridgefield, Jan 6 - Mrs Mignonne H Hogg, 77, widow of Claude E Hogg, died yesterday in Norwalk hospital after an illness of only a few hours. She had resided with Mrs John Morrissoe, Montainview avenue. Mrs Hogg, born in Fayetteville, W Va, was the daughter of Capt Joseph Ankrom and Cynthia Anne Ferguson. Her father fought with the Union Army in the Civil War, commanding the Company D of the Second West Virginia Volunteer Cavalry. Prior to coming to Ridgefield, she had lived in Jacksonville, Fla. Services will be conducted Thursday at 2:30 pm from the Floyd B Bouton funeral home, Georgetown, with the Rev Eugene Timmerhief, of the Plymouth Brethren, officiating. The Rev Otto Shulte, of Shelton, will participate in the burial service in Mapleshade cemetery. Mrs Hogg is survived by a daughter Miss Marjorie Hogg, of New Canaan, a violinist and music teacher.
