Gottleb G Anshutz was born in August, 1837 in Pleasant Township, Switzerland, Indiana, United States, son of George Anshutz (1803– ) and Elizabeth R Wagner (1808– ).^[1] In 1850, Gottleb (12) was living in Pleasant, Switzerland. ^[2] In 1870, Gottleb was living in Jefferson, Switzerland, Indiana. ^[3] Gottleb died on September 10, 1906 in Riverside, California, United States, aged 68. He is commemorated at Evergreen Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Riverside, Riverside County, California.^{[4] [5] [1]}
