Biography

Richard Anstice, son of John Anstice & Jemima Wood was born in Newton Ferrers, Devon, in 1839. His birth was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1839 in the Plympton St Mary district^[1] an he was baptised on 22 September 1839 in Newton Ferrers.^{[2] [3]}

Married Eliza Ferris in UK and had three children before coming to NZ.

He passed away in 1905.
