Job was born on 1 Nov 1758 in Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island. He was the son of Abraham Anthony and Mary (Chase) Anthony.

He married Phebe Chase.

He was granted a certificate to the Rhode Island monthly meeting from the Dartmouth monthly meeting on 18 of 4 mo. 1803 [18 Apr 1803].^[1] He was accompanied by his wife and their child Darius.^[1]

He died on 5 Feb 1851 in Portsmouth. He was buried in Portsmouth Friends Churchyard.^[2]
