Biography

Charlotte Appleton was baptised on 17 Oct 1830 at Stratfield Saye, Hampshire, daughter of Joseph, Labourer of Beech Hill, and Charlotte. Her date of birth was recorded as 22 Sep 1830.[1]

Charlotte Appleton, a minor, spinster of Strafield Saye, married Edward 'Cocks', of full age, bachelor, labourer of Stratfield Saye, on 04 Sep 1848 at Stratfield Saye, Hampshire. Father's name was recorded as Joseph Appleton, Labourer.[2]

It is presumed she was the Charlotte Cox whose death was registered in Q3 1859 in the District of Basingstoke, age 30.[13]
