Albert Archer was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)

Date: ABT 1888[1]
Place: Armidale, New South Wales, Australia

Military Service

Private Albert John Archer enlisted into the Australian Imperial Force (AIF) on the 16 November 1915. His Next of Kin was listed as his father, W Archer of Tubbamurra, New South Wales. He listed his Previous military service as having Volunteered in Australian Light Horse. He was assigned to the 33rd Battalion, A Company and this unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A74 Marathon on 4 May 1916. Company Quartermaster Sergeant Albert John Archer still serving with the 33rd Battalion when Killed in Action on the 4 April 1918 at Villers-Bretonneux at the age of 29.
Albert Archer is an Anzac who served in World War One.
