Biography
Robinson Armstrong was born on 8 February 1861 in Whittlesea, Victoria, Australia, the son of Robert Armstrong and Mary Anne Johnstone. [1] Mother listed as Mary Anne Johnstone on death registration.
He married Mary Alice Grecian in 1886 in Victoria.[2] Their children were:
- Leslie George Victor Armstrong (1887–1970)
- A son (1880s–?)
- Minnie Irene Armstrong (1890–1962)
- Robin Henry Armstrong (1892–1988)
- Arthur Rupert Armstrong (1894–1987)
- Alfred Grecian Armstrong (1897–1969)

Robinson died on 29 May 1925 in Euroa, Victoria, aged 64 years. [1]
OBITUARY Jun 1925[3]—Mr Robinson Armstrong, who died at Euroa on Friday, was 64 years of age. Born at Yan Yean, he went to Strathbogie with his parents at an early age, and did a great deal of pioneer work in the district. For 18 years he represented Strathbogie on the Euroa Council.
