Biography

Thornton Arnold was born about 1835 in Tennessee, United States, son of Reuben Arnold (~1795–>1880) and Sarah Stroud (~1804–<1880). He moved with the family to Arkansas around 1847.^{[1] [2]}

When he died is not known.

Research Notes

Thornton has a first cousin, son of William, of the same name and similar age. Take care not to confuse them. William's family lived on the other side of the White River is an area that later became Stone Co. William's son, James Thornton Arnold (1836-aft.1900) was later found in Howard Co, Arkansas.
