Biography
Daughter of Ephraim Arnold (1750-?), who married Catherine Elizabeth Clary (1754-1823) in Maryland. They had two known offspring together: Elizabeth Elin Arnold (1768-1820) and Ephraim M. Arnold (1780-1842).
The second husband of Elin's mother, Catherine Clary, was John Benjamin Richards (1760-1823), who married Catherine on 22 November 1781 in Frederick County, Maryland. Catherine Clary Richards mother had seven more known children, who were Elin's half-siblings and who were mostly born in Ohio.
Elin Arnold was the first wife of William Condon Ball (1771-1865), on 5 December 1797 at the First German Evangelical Reformed Church in Frederick County, Maryland, USA. Together, they had four known children.
