Biography

Ladislaus was the second son of King Béla II of Hungary and his wife, Helena of Raška (also known as Jelena Nemanja). . He married " Unknown " who probably died young and had , at least, one daughter :

Maria, who was the wife of Niccolò Michieli, a patrician of Venice [1].

Ladislaus was known as the King of Hungary, King of Croatia (1162–1163) and the Ban of Bosnia (1137–1159).He was a young king and was known as the " rebel " King because he plotted against his brothers & imprisoned the ArchBishop of Hungary right after his coronation in July 1162 [2]

In 1162, probably died due to poisoning. Székesfehérvár is where he was buried [3]
