Biography

Birth

Francisco was born before 14 Jul 1624, as he was baptized that day.

Francisco de Arratia lived in the following generation. Very likely he was the son of Gaspar. [1] He is the son of Gaspar de Arratia and Ana Martín Barba.

Death

Before 1680 (Age 55 years)

Felipe de Arratia is the only one of this name mentioned in the Revolt lists of 1681. [1]

According to Origins of New Mexico Families: "He was one of the Governor's henchmen who violated the honored right of sanctuary by arresting one of Chaves' men in the Santo Domingo Pueblo church in 1663. Very likely he was the son of Gaspar"
