Private Phineas Ash served with 2nd Regiment, New Hampshire Militia during the American Revolution.

Phineas Ash is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A003396.

Phineas was born in 1740 in Amesbury, Massachusetts. He was the son of Nathaniel Ash and Elizabeth Brock.[1]

Phineas Ash served in the American Revolution from 24 June 1775 to 30 November 1777. He was a private in Massachusetts with Captain Isaac Sherman, and a private in New Hampshire with Colonel Samuel Gerrish.[2][3][4]

In 28 May 1777, Elizabeth Ash, widow of Phineas Ash, was appointed administratrix of his estate.[5]
