Biography

Isaac, born in 1811, was the son of early Ontario settlers Jonathan Ashbridge and his wife Hannah Ellsworth Bennett.

He settled on Lot 27, Concession B, Scarborough Township, which was later willed to him by his father. In 1850 he married Ruth Auburn and they had four children: Jonathan, Ann, Hannah and Georgina.^[1]

He died in 1893 and was buried at St. John's Norway Cemetery, Toronto.^{[2] [3]}At the time of his death, he was a farmer in Scarborough Township, Ontario.^[4]
