Francis Allen Ashton was born in 1846 in Hardin County, Ohio. He was the son of Charles and Mary Haverfield Ashton.[1]
Pvt Francis Ashton served in the United States Civil War. Enlisted: 2 Feb 1864 Mustered out: 20 Jul 1865 Side: USA Regiment(s): Company H, 32nd Ohio Volunteer Infantry
He received a pension for service during the American Civil War.[2]
Francis died in Chandler, Oklahoma in 1914 and was interred at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler, Oklahoma.[3]
