The source for Helen May Woodruff being her daughter (and Wilford Leslie Woodruff being Gertrude Alice Atkins' husband) is the records of Helen May Woodruff, which are in my possession (they list her as Janette Gertrude Atkins on one typed form and Gertrude Alice Atkins on a handwritten form: while the forms do not include sources, it should be noted that Helen is her daughter and knew her, and I knew Helen: she's my dad's mother; I've heard her talk about her parents, too, and recall with certainty that she said her father's name was Wilford Leslie Woodruff, and that he had an identical twin, which she told me a story about; the twin is Willard Clarence Woodruff; although the twins looked the same, Gertrude Alice Atkins could tell them apart).
