Biography

Jennie was born 31 Aug 1870 in Cass County, Missouri. She was the daughter of JJoseph Smith Atkinson and Martha Pieaster.

In 1880 she was living in Emmetsburg, Palo Alto, Iowa, United States.^[1] The household included Joseph S. Atkinson 38, wife Martha H. Atkinson 32, daughter Betsy J. Atkinson 10, son Joseph S. Atkinson 6, and daughter Carra D. Atkinson 0. Joseph was a drayman.

James R Reed and Jennie Atkinson were married on 12 September 1893 in Emmetsburg, Palo Alto Co., Iowa, United States. He was the son of Erastus E. Reed and Clarinda M. Wood. She was the daughter of Joseph S. Atkinson and Martha Peaster.^[2]

In 1900 she was living in Emmetsburg, Palo Alto, Iowa, United States.^[3] The household included James R Reed 29, wife Jennie Reed 30, son Clarence A Reed 6, daughter Rupheno Reed 4, and son Schuyler J Reed 3.
