Biography

Bathsheba Atwood was born 1 Aug 1723 at Truro, MA, daughter of Joseph Atwood and Lydia Doane.^[1]

Bathsheba was the widow of Thomas Berry,^[2][3] an early settler at New Meadows [ME] who held land adjacent to the Coombs properties. Thomas died at Brunswick on 10 Apr 1755 at the age of 38. Bathsheba had sons by Thomas Berry: Jeremiah Berry born 18 Nov 1742^[4] and probably Thomas Berry born about 1746.

Mrs. Bathsheba (Atwood) BERRY of Falmouth, ME published her marriage intentions (2nd marriage) at Brunswick, ME, on 22 Apr 1769 to Peter Coombs of Brunswick ^[5](2nd marriage) and they were married 8 May 1769.^{[6] [7]}
