Biography
Jérôme Aubut was baptized on 13 Nov 1769 in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli parish. He was the son of François Aubut and his wife Marie Louise Dupuis. Godparents at Jérôme's baptism were Jérôme Dupuis and Marie Joseph Dutremble. At age 25 Jérôme married Rose Larue on 3 Nov 1795 in Saint-Roch-des-Aulnaies parish in L'Islet. There are eight known children born into this marriage. Jerome died at age 84 on 26 Feb 1854; he was buried two days later on 28 Feb in Rivière-Ouelle.
