Biography

George Peter Augustine was a coal miner, then later he was a City of Pittsburgh fireman, with No. 13 Engine Company of the Hazelwood neighborhood. Mr. Augustine died of metastatic bronchogenic carcinoma. Mr. Augustine played baseball as a young man with his brother, Michael George Augustine, on the Fair Haven Baseball Club team [1].
