Note N91She had to take the place of her mother when she died. She and her fiancee also contracted typhoid but survived. They landed at Quebec where they were quarantined for weeks. They came to Nashotah and raised seven children on 20 acres of land.
Inger is a sister of Maren Helvig, matriarch of the Jacobson family. Ole's brother, Peder married another sister, Ingeborg. All four of these immigrated to Nashotah, WI. Noted are the tie ins with eariler generations of Holtes. (Siljan book page 550) This family is not directly related to the ancestry of Jakob Larsen Snurren.
