William Avery was born on March 31, 1678, in Dedham, Massachusetts. He married Esther Hunting on June 26, 1700, in his hometown.^[1] He died on May 13, 1750, in Dedham, Massachusetts,^[2] at the age of 72, and was buried there.^[3]
