MOTOR 'BUS v. VAN. COLLISION IN FULHAM ROAD: THREE PERSONS INJURED. There was a serious collision in Fulbam Road on Monday afternoon and three complained of injury. A laundry van belonging to Frank Ayshford, a launderer, of Standen Road, Southfields, was proceeding towards Putzel when it came into collision with a motor 'bus. Minnie Smith and Laze Stops, both of Putney, who were in the van, complained of injury, and Smith had to he taken home in a cab. A young girl named Annie Carpenter, who was wheeling a baby on the pavement at the time also received an injury to her chest and she had to be seen by Dr Langley. The van was badly damaged, but the carman, Frank Ayshford, escaped injury. The motor 'bus was not damaged. Published in the Fulham Chronicle on Friday 11th May 1906.[10]

Frank's death (age 85) was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1942 in the Surrey North-eastern district, England.[15]
Frank died on the 11th March 1942 and his estate passed probate to Edward Charles Hall a stockbroker, and to Albert Arthur Pankhurst a butcher, on the 24th June 1942 in Llandudno, Wales. He was living at 322 Malden Road,New Malden, Surrey.[16]
