Eliza Baade (married name Ralston) was born on 6 April 1876 in Sale, Colony of Victoria, daughter of Sarah (Gibbs) Baade and Bernhard Baade.^[1]

She married Alexander John Ralston in 1893 in Colony of Victoria^[2]

Mr. Les Ralston, of Kyabram, suffered a bereavement last Friday with the death of his mother, Mrs. Eliza Ralston, who passed away at the home of her daughter at Orbost. [Deceased, who was 79 years of age, was the relict of the late Mr. A. J. Ralston. Surviving- members of the family are five daughters, Ivy (Mrs. Wilson, Newcastle), Dorothy (Mrs. Symons, Melbourne), Vene (Mrs. i Wilkins, Melbourne), Eunice (Mrs. Warren), Mary (Mrs. Wehner, Orbost), three sons, James (Port Kembla), Les (Kyabram) and Jack.
