Mitchell Watson and Anna Bacon made their intentions to get married at the Green Street Monthly Meeting of the Quakers in Philadelphia on 19 October 1848.[1]
On 5 June 1880, Mitchel and Anna Watson, their son Henry, and two servants, Margaret Farrel and Ellen Boylen lived in Middleton, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Mitchell was a retired farmer while Anna was keeping house (she was suffering from dyspepsia). Their son Henry worked as a lawyer.[2]
